About Ragnarok

What is Ragnarok?
Ragnarok is a Scandinavian multi-game organization, which started in as a guild in Anarchy Online in 2001. The original guild was a result of a merger between Nordic Fusion, Absolute SWE, Danish Federation and Svea Rike. In time we grew and started new games. Thus Ragnarok is now represented in Anarchy Online - Atlantean, World of Warcraft - Aszune, Everquest 2 and many other games. Our common ground are the passion for games, these pages and our forum.

We strive to maintain a high standard among our members. We salute maturity, good manners and fellowship above all else; Ragnarok is a family we are all proud to represent. In order to keep the bonds tight and the standard high we maintain strick rules in our recruitment procedures. They may seem tedious, but they are important to make sure that new arrivals fit in and meet the recruirements.

Who can join Ragnarok?
We are a Scandinavian organization, therefore all applicants must be able to speak either Swedish, Norwegian or Danish. Other than that each game has specific recuirements.

Ragnarok is always looking for people who are enthusiastic about their character class/profession, and who are willing to dedicate their time and effort to support the guild and its members.

I have a good friend, who also plays AO/WoW/EQ2, can he join?
A guild is a group of people, who share interests and goals. It is therefore natural to be in the same guild as ones friends, and it is something we encourage in Ragnarok.

How big is Ragnarok?
Ragnarok is represented in several popular mmorpgs and is a force to be reconed with in several of them. As stated earlier we actively try to keep the members list down to those who are active.
What are we about?
We are first and foremost about fun! But this guild was also formed in a merger of three guilds to combine our forces and stand stronger in the fight against the clans in the Notum Wars/the Horde in WoW; We like PvP and do not stand down from a good fight.

What responsibilities does a member have?
As a member of Ragnarok, your foremost responsibility is simple: conduct yourself with honor. You are expected to avoid behavior which can be perceived as racist, harassing, or exploitative. As you face and defeat your enemies, you do it with respect and a sense of fair play.

We do not want to burden any player with duties or chores that take up playing time; therefore there are no mandatory raids and very few mandatory meetings. But of course the more you participate the stronger we become. And if you want your opinions heard and a chance to influence the development of the guild, participating in the meetings would be a good start. You are also encourage to help your guldies best way you can; we stand together, and support eachother at all times.

Does Ragnarok hold regular meetings?
Ragnarok does not have regular meetings at this time. But remember to keep yourself updated on the forum, as we are active forum users and use it to convey information to our players and discuss ingame and nongame topics.

Does Ragnarok do raids?
Of course! Ragnarok is considered a raiding guild in any game we are represented by force. Also we consider us self able pvp’ers, as many enemies have experienced first hand trough the years.
